Delhi Productivity Council is a tripartite, autonomous organization registered under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860), set-up on March 23, 1959 at the initiative of National Productivity Council (under the Ministry of Industry) and with active support of Government of Delhi.
The main objectives of DPC are as follows:
- To increase Productivity in all spheres of Industries, Service and Cooperative sector

- To simulate and promote productivity consciousness by disseminating information regarding Productivity.
- To encourage and assist implementation of programmes relating to increase in Productivity.
To facilitate individuals and organizations to re-position, align with the fast changing business environment. Promote productivity consciousness in all spheres of industries, Services, Education & Co-operative Sectors, with the objective of strengthening the performance and competitiveness of the economy as well as of improving the working conditions and quality of working life.

In the true spirit of globalization and to reach out to all across the NCT & other regions, facilitating their involvement in strengthening the nation’s human resource, improving processes, systems and procedures, and sharpening organizations competitive edge.
Centrally located at Jhandewalan Extnsion in its own four storeyed building, DPC with Specialists and supporting staff members has been spearheading the Productivity movement in Delhi and its surrounding areas for more than four decades now. With the required support from National Productivity Council (NPC) and the talents from the Industries, DPC has developed necessary expertise in the various areas of the services offered by it . DPC has close association with Asian Productivity Organisation (APO), Tokyo, Japan and World Confederation of Productivity Sciences (WCPS).
